Transport Manager

I joined Heron Foods in 2013 at the age of 16 after leaving school and have built my career here by working across several areas of the business. I started in store before moving into the warehouse and later becoming an HGV driver then Shunter, which gave me a strong understanding of the operation from the ground up. I’m now a Transport Manager, a role I really enjoy because no two days are ever the same and I’m trusted with a high level of responsibility. Over the years, I’ve grown both professionally and personally, becoming more confident and mature as my responsibilities have increased.

One of the things I value most about working at Heron Foods is the opportunity to progress. If you’re willing to work hard and show commitment, the company will invest time and money into developing you. I started my journey here at 16 and I am now 28, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Heron Foods has played a big part in shaping both my career and who I am today, and I’m excited to continue building my future here.
