Daniel Vannet

Warehouse Operations Manager

In my early 20s I was following a career in professional rugby and I went to University so I had no real work experience. I joined Heron Foods in 2018 as a Warehouse Operative and through this time I worked with a very friendly and diverse team. It also gave me the insight and the fundamentals of how a warehouse operates.

In November of 2019 I got promoted to Warehouse Trainer with the help and guidance from the managerial team. We worked together to develop new starters to the company and also help any colleagues that may have any issues. In November of 2020 I was promoted to Warehouse Supervisor and then on to become a Warehouse Operations Manager.

What I love about working at Heron is how every door is open for advice or help no matter who it is; the management staff are willing to help anytime. I also love the family feel to the company and how everyone works together to get the work done. It’s a great place to work with amazing pathways to progress within the company and with the right guidance and work ethic you can progress quickly.
